The Opportunity

Hyatt is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Global Sales Director on our Hyatt Sales Force Americas team who will focus on the management of our key TMC and Consortia partners. This is a unique opportunity for a global seller passionate about strategic management of accounts, planning of customer events and branded activations, hotel training and education, strategic approach to marketing plans, creative presentations, and working with a collaborative global team of sellers to achieve our organization's objectives through our Purpose of Care. This is a remote position reporting directly to the Global Sales Director TMC/Consortia–Americas. The Role

The Associate Global Director is responsible for implementing the organization’s strategic objectives and tactics/initiatives for our Global Transient TMC/Consortia Accounts within their designated account base. As an Associate Global Director, they will implement strategic account/action plans for each account that will include: KPI Achievement, customer engagement, key tactics to grow market share and drive preference globally, new hotel ramp-up, annual & quarterly account reviews, promotions, and B2B marketing opportunities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to understanding customer trends, day-to-day account management, handling leads & RFPs, program management, contributing to team accounts, and collaborating on strategic company initiatives while maintaining travel expenses within the set budget. The Associate Director will support implementation and engagement with all Hyatt properties worldwide to elevate the preference towards Hyatt through the TMC/Consortia channels and educate hotels on specific TMCs and Consortia and relevant revenue-producing opportunities to their destination and hotel. The Associate Director will work in conjunction with the other TMC/Consortia and Distribution team members to implement best practices, drive direct business opportunities, support the ramp-up of new hotel openings and acquisitions, and grow World of Hyatt membership through strategic account management. The Associate Director will be required throughout the year to account for sponsored events, Hyatt and TMC/Consortia sponsored events, participation at industry trade shows, annual account reviews, and hotel familiarization trips. Responsibilities will include managing account requests covering, but not limited to transient, marketing, and RFPs. This is a remote position reporting directly to the Global Sales Director, TMC & Consortia–Americas.

•Responsible for growing relationships and brand awareness with affiliates of our current Global TMC/Consortia partners through webinars, participation in affiliate events, and office visits when relevant.

•Travel Management Company/ TMC/ Consortia Office visits & targeted presentations

•Supporting and developing brand clarity for a portfolio of accounts

•Development of quarterly account action plans to drive production in the transient market segments

•Educating our Hyatt hotels on the value of Consortia/TMC and business opportunities – Creating and implementing opportunities for hotel education and sharing strategies to drive TMC/Consortia production to individual properties

•Collaborate with Global TMC/Consortia and Distribution teams to manage the TMC/Consortia RFP strategy and assist with driving participation in optional TMC/Consortia accounts as well as SME programs

•Support and manage opportunities for Consortia/TMC accounts and report on customer feedback to effect change

•Provide detailed and thoughtful analytics to collaborate with Global Directors on QBRs and business reviews

•A key player on Global Account teams and accountable for actions and revenues

•Able to work independently and make decisions based on established policies, procedures, and agreements

•Collaboration with the TMC/Consortia Global Sales team on all Hyatt-sponsored events including but not limited to, Hyatt Games, Customer Advisory Boards, and various client events.

•Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently in a fast paced and relatively autonomous environment.

•Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to stay nimble and creative to stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•5-7 years of hotel sales experience

•Experience with TMC/Consortia and Corporate Transient

•Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills

•Excellent organizational skills

•Strong client relationships

•Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

•Strong knowledge and command of Envision, Lanyon, Cvent Transient, and Master Service Agreements where applicable

•Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do positive attitude

•Must be able to work remotely and independently from a home office

Experience Preferred:

•Bachelor’s degree preferred

•Comprehensive knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices

•Advanced Excel Knowledge
