The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparation and assembly of all pastry components for Cindy's Rooftop restaurant service, in-room dining, as well as banquet events, as trained in accordance to Pastry shop standards. This individual will assist higher level bakers and will be responsible in maintaining a clean and organized station and kitchen areas. Additional duties may be assigned by the Pastry Chef and/or other managers based on operational needs.

  • Requires good communication skills.

  • At least 1-2 years of previous baking/pastry experience preferred.

  • Culinary degree or related baking experience is preferred.

  • Candidates should be able to perform all basic baking skills.

  • Able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Requires moderate supervision and training.

  • Availability to work holidays and weekends is required for this position.

  • Availability to work mornings and early evenings is required for this position.
