About the Role:
The Channel Marketing Manager, US will develop, implement and supervise marketing programs and offers for all our workshop – we call them DIFM Channels - (Franchised Workshop dealers, Independent workshop dealers, Quick Lubes and DIY channels (Retailers and Auto Accounts)) in order to optimally market to our customers and to promote our products and services, crafting plans for growing market share.

The role requires strong collaboration with Sales, Product and Brand Marketing and agency partner teams in the development and execution of National Promotions and Programs to drive sell-out and market share with a consistent customer and consumer experience across our channels.
Leads the development of Customer Value Proposition, Offers and Programs to grow our share in the market.
Develops and manages annual activation calendar encompassing all activations, including promotional programs, education, engagement and events
Analyzes data to develop channel and market insights to guide program development
Partners with brand marketing teams to ensure alignment with strategic consumer, trade targets and KPIs for appropriate sub-channels ensuring full 360 degree execution of plans.
Coordinates with relevant resources to develop new insights and ensure alignment on program execution at customer level
Works with agencies to drive the timely and effective delivery and execution of programs
Leverages fact-based selling story structure to support field sales sell-in of programs to customers in local markets
Regularly reviews program performance and presents findings in order to influence future programming, development of brand plans, channel strategies and “below the line” marketing programs
Interacts with sales and conducts regular market visits to keep current on market trends, proactively making program recommendations to optimize opportunities and mitigate threats
Owns integration of Global initiatives into local programs and ensures markets use their support across channels, including e-commerce
Identifies logical extensions of national programs into scalable, customizable National and Regional Chain Account opportunities
BUDGET & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Establishes measures and objectives to assess program efficiency including targeted KPIs and efficient execution metrics in field
Manages the agency budgets to ensure quality delivery of creative program details
Supervises the budget/s, including budget activation planning and proactively raising issues/concerns if forecasts are over / under budget.
Develops local market investment budget recommendations
Consistently tracks and reports on activities, in order to correlate to sales and supervise ROI
Ensures the regular publication of the following reports as required and supervise the information for any actions needed:
Partners with Marketing and Sales Team during strategy plan process to propose annual MKT Plan to support the aligned commercial plan.
Ensures the brand strategy and activation program plans are communicated effectively to the Sales and Distributor teams at key moments ie. Roadshows, local distributor meetings, product launches, training sessions, etc.
Contributes to coordinated and collaborative communication process across Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing, Global Teams and Field Sales
EVENT & PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
ensure the quality development, planning and execution of bartender-focused event activities for marquee service industry members and brand-owned trade programs
Supervises brand strategy application to all trade events and account activations, including development of playbooks, guidelines and tools as appropriate for the field.
Work with Global team to develop and deploy tools / programs for the different channels.
Ensures accurate outreach/ follow up is in place to continuously engage the trade with the brand.
Bachelor's Degree in marketing business, sales management or related field (Masters preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience of business and marketing experience
Proven experience managing and developing a team
Demonstrates a bias for action in all areas of work; shows serious dedication to accountability and ownership, and a strong work ethic
Strong communicator, both oral and written
Experience in Lubricant or Automotive Industry preferred but other industries will be considered IE: CPG.
Experience working with and influencing cross functional teams, preferably in large matrix organizations

How much do we pay (Base)? $170K- $200K) *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
Up to 25% travel should be expected with this role
Relocation may be negotiable for this role
This position is a hybrid of office/remote working
