The Citrix Systems Engineer role is to ensure the stable operation, reliability, security and planned future of the assigned computer systems and the support of all the services on the assigned systems. Under minimal supervision, performs work supporting the overall integration of the assigned systems enterprise-wide including participation in planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination with Global Hyatt’s business operations. A person in this position is a technical contributor with superior knowledge and experience in the area of the assigned systems, communications interfaces, and related hardware/software. Maintains technical expertise and may have certifications in selected vendor products. Works closely with architecture teams to deploy and operate system designs. Will perform security procedures and recommend policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal polices. This role is knowledgeable, at a senior level, in a multi-platform-operating environment. The person will also, from time to time, analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

Responsibilities

Working technical knowledge of Citrix products including hypervisor and related virtualization technology, network, PC, and platform operating systems, including Windows10, Windows 2016 and above.

Support experience with Citrix Apps & Desktops 7.x or higher. Citrix Netscaler 12.x or higher al guidance, and support for Hyatt’s Identity and Platform

Windows 10 desktop OS administration

Advanced working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and Active Directory

Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values

Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum 5-7 years in a technology support role

Minimum 3-5 years supporting Citrix platforms

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or 5 years Enterprise IT experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Citrix Certified Administrator preferred

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

Through understanding of network, client and platform operating systems, including Windows Client and Server operating systems.

Application integration experience with Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Products including Azure Active Directory and Office 365.

Advanced understanding of systems software, protocols and standards, including integration best practices.

Additional Comments and Requirements

VMWare and Citrix Cloud experience a plus.

Knowledge of applicable PCI, SOX and data privacy practices laws.
