BMO Financial Group Community Giving Manager in Chicago, Illinois
This role has a hybrid mandate: 2x/week at 320 S Canal St, Chicago, IL.
The Employee & Community Giving team has an immediate opening for a Manager, U.S. Community Giving . Reporting to the Director, Community Giving , this role is responsible for implementing BMO’s extensive community giving program in the U.S. as part of BMO’s commitments to building stronger communities across North America.

Role Profile
This role focuses on driving BMO’s U.S. community giving initiatives, maximizing BMO’s social impact, and fostering positive change within the community. The successful candidate has experience with a large U.S. community giving function and can work effectively across the enterprise to implement community giving programs that contribute to BMO’s social impact and Purpose commitments in the U.S. The candidate understands how to use data and analysis to inform and measure community giving programs and the different needs of stakeholders involved in community giving and social impact.
Mandate & Core Responsibilities
Develops and executes community giving strategies and programs to align with BMO's broader social impact goals.
Creates sustainable programs, evaluates risks, and prioritizes opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
Identifies and addresses program risks and provides timely reports to senior leadership.
Incorporates stakeholder feedback into community giving design and management.
Assesses community giving impact, suggests enhancements, and leverages data for strategic insights.
Monitors community giving program performance, resolves issues, and produces comprehensive reports.
Implements change to enhance community giving programs and ensure effective execution plans.
Tracks exceptions, manages vendor relationships, and oversees project activities.
Leads community giving processes and strategic initiatives and offers analytical support.
Provides expert advice to senior leaders based on business insights.
Stays informed on industry practices in community giving.
Networks with industry peers for knowledge sharing and best practices.
Collaborates with departments for consistent messaging and community giving program implementation.
Executes operational programs to uphold quality standards and impact assessment.
Qualifications:
Typically, 5- 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Program management skills – Solid

Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.

Salary:
$72,500.00 - $134,500.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
