The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Director Feasibility Americas to join our Feasibility department. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Americas Finance team, Americas Development team, and Americas Design team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

The Director Feasibility Americas will provide support to the Americas Development team and other key departments by researching and analyzing regional demographic and economic trends, lodging supply-demand patterns, and preparing and presenting proforma analyses for all Hyatt-related investment & development activity. This leadership position will also focus on efficiently managing and developing team members. The position will report to the RVP, Feasibility & Development Finance – Americas.

•Provide support and underwriting of transactions pursued by the Americas Development Team, Corporate Transactions Group, Asset Management, and Capital Strategy teams.

•Provide support to Development, Design, and Brands teams as it relates to market-based facility and positioning recommendations for new Development projects, redevelopments, and renovation projects.

•Prepare relevant Development Committee memo analyses and other development-related presentations.

•Support efforts to create, maintain, and evolve models, methodologies, guidelines, and policies to support Development efforts.

•Assist developers in evaluating, structuring, and negotiating transactions involving various forms of HHC participation with multiple partners.

•Participate in and provide the analysis and recommendations for major capital projects at any Hyatt-owned asset.

•Prepare market-level lodging forecasts for key markets across the Americas region.

•Maintain, enhance, and develop complex analytical tools – excel worksheets, databases, and SharePoint custom utilities.

•Prepare impact reports for potential future Hyatt hotels to determine their impact on existing Hyatt hotels in the same market.

•Supervise, train, and mentor Managers, Analysts/Senior Analysts on the team.

•Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt's core values.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•7 years of analytic and financial experience in Finance and Hospitality.

•5 years of underwriting experience for both Full Service and Select Service hotel assets.

•BA / BS in Finance or Hospitality, or a related field.

•Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

•Self-motivated, highly collaborative, and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

•Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail.

•Ability to manage multiple high-priority items simultaneously.

•Ability to travel 20% of the time.

•The position will be based out of Chicago.

Experience Preferred:

•MBA in Hospitality

•Experience with SharePoint

•Experience with Oracle / Hyperion
