The Opportunity

In this role, you will be the bridge between Hyatt’s customers and the sales teams at hotels, collaborating closely in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

The HSF Global Group Sales Manager – Midwest is a remote role that requires initiative, works independently, and thrives as a part of a larger dynamic team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount as this role is a key connection between customers and hotel-based colleagues. Applicants for this position must reside in the Midwest portion of the United States.

As an HSF Global Group Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of all Hyatt Branded Hotels. You will be responsible for spearheading the acquisition of incoming leads, while also nurturing assigned & managed HSF business that has the potential to repeat & grow in revenue with Hyatt Hotels. Your role will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the brand's reputation, acting as a brand expert and liaison to provide valuable assistance to all internal and external customers. Responsibilities also include:

•Focus on efforts towards generating and converting incoming leads through various segments with a secondary focus on efforts towards nurturing assigned & managed HSF business with the potential for repeat bookings at hotels.

•Interact with external customers, providing them with exceptional service and addressing their needs and concerns along with establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal hotel teams to foster a collaborative working environment.

•Collaborate closely with hotels to strategize, plan, and execute customer communication with a distinct focus for all assigned accounts.

•Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

•Work hand in hand with hotels to create memorable and unique experiences that align with the Hyatt Hotels’ ethos and values.

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•Proven track record in sales, consistently exceeding targets and increasing revenue within the hospitality industry

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field or equivalent experience

•Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software in Envision, Salesforce, or Delphi

•Experience in using reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Cognos) to track sales performance, analyze trends, etc.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to create, format, and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations

•Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and collaborate with hotel teams

•This individual must be able to work independently in a home-based environment located in the midwest portion of the United States

Experience Preferred:

•The ideal candidate has the drive and ability to pursue business and a proven track record of success of acquisition in the group segment

•Strong understanding of the group segment and the factors that drive customer preferences

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders

•Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

•Creative thinker with the ability to strategize and plan events that align with the Brand's identity

•Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed targets
