Job Summary:

Caterpillar Cat Digital Division is looking towards the future and expanding its services sales through the eCommerce channel. We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Standards Consultant to join our eCommerce Global Dealer Standards team. The eCommerce Global Dealer Standards team provides expertise and thought leadership to the enterprise by establishing and achieving eCommerce global standards for our distributors, driving an improved and consistent eCommerce customer experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead global deployment execution of Caterpillar’s Global Dealer Marketing Standards, the eCommerce program sitting at the intersection of our enterprise, industry, and Dealer partners.

  • Lead strategic initiative projects such as Online Mystery Shopper project, deployment of Cat Central enterprise mobile app, development of integrated eCommerce Marketing ecosystem potential standards, etc.

  • Work directly with the global dealer network to screen proposed eCommerce Marketing standards, deploy current standards, troubleshoot issues with global deployment, and assist with all aspects of process, training, and needed deployment materials.

  • Bring matrixed Caterpillar groups together in Industry Groups, Marketing Groups, Cat Digital eCommerce Product Developers, etc. to build consensus and execute Global Marketing Standards.

  • Opportunities to grow in Leadership by coaching and guiding agency team members.

  • Own responsibility for KPI’s in the Marketing portion of the Global Dealer Standards program, and measure and report out on the success of our portion of the program.

  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the Global Standards Team at an exciting time of growth in the program.

What You Will Have:

  • B2B or B2C marketing knowledge of eCommerce systems and strategies and their implementation with global dealers

  • eCommerce experience, with successful track record of leading measurable eCommerce marketing initiatives

  • Experience establishing best practices and frameworks with digital platforms and products

  • Previous successful experience in eCommerce / digital project management with strong project/process management skills demonstrated in experience

  • Strong, proven interpersonal skills including communications and public presentation proficiency

  • Ability to earn trust and credibility with senior dealer management teams and the proven ability to effectively work with all hierarchy levels and influence others internally and externally to ensure relentless execution

  • Identifies, evaluates, approves, monitors and documents proposed changes to the production environment.

  • Excellent ability to adapt to change and perform in an agile environment

Consideration For Top Candidates:

  • Experience in directly running B2B or B2C digital marketing campaigns

  • Previous field-based assignments in distributor development

  • eCommerce experience in emerging markets

  • Excellent analytical skills will be required to be successful in the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline

Additional Details:

This position has the option to be based out of either our Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL offices with a flexible hybrid work environment.
