Job Mission:

The position works closely with the H&W product and category marketing teams, commercial teams, internal functional stakeholders, external market agencies and data intelligence providers to uncover and unlock insights translated into strategic thinking, innovation and thought leadership for the H&W business across product/technology platforms and key market segments such as Dietary Supplements.

The individual is responsible for strategizing with the H&W and Dietary Supplement category to build impactful learning agendas, designing and executing market analyses and consumer research plans, generating intuitive, inspiring, and actionable data-driven insight to ultimately fuel new consumer driven innovation, customer value and business impact. To do so the individual will utilize multiple sources of secondary data as well as primary qualitative and quantitative consumer research to identify and summarize learnings on market trends, consumer behaviors, industry sizing, and competitive landscapes that support ADM offerings value-propositions for category growth opportunities.

The position acts as the voice of the consumer and customer working collaboratively with marketing, technical, and commercial/sales teams in support of marketing, innovation and customer specific initiatives through timely communication, targeted insights and strategic storytelling.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and execution of primary and secondary research according to best practice methodologies in support of insights and business goals and objectives

  • Apply expertise in consumer research, syndicated data and application of advanced analytics

  • Leverage an arsenal of research sources including scrappy techniques, traditional practices and modern methods such as social listening, artificial intelligence, PowerBI to uncover consumer, customer, market, channel and category insights

  • Synthesize and report findings and recommendations through holistic and compelling story-led communications to key stakeholders including senior leadership

  • Respond to requests in a timely fashion with a high level of professionalism and proficiency

  • Self-directed with a strong sense of accountability, ability to work independently and comfortable interacting with/presenting to organization leaders, including senior management

  • Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change with maturity and a bias for action and actionable deliverables.

  • Ability to work proficiently with agencies

  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and PowerBI skills a plus

  • Project management skills, organization skills and an ability to multitask

  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed and entrepreneurial environment

Qualification & Experiences:

  • Min. 3 years related to market research, competitive intelligence, and consumer Insights, including curation of insights from multiple and diverse data sets

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Marketing, Statistics, or Business-related field required

  • Experience in B2B or B2C industries, with preference for CPG industry, specifically Dietary Supplements, strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with online research, digital platform and social media listening is an advantage

  • Strong executional excellence with a highly collaborative mindset to drive shared results

  • Great interpersonal bonding skills. Possess strong teamwork and team building skills

  • Strong story-telling, oral, written, verbal and formal presentation skills, including customer interaction

  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills with Pivot Table, and PowerBI as a plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$89,700.00 - $145,700.00

Salaried Incentive Plan:

The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
