Job Description:

Come join an exciting team within Global Information Security (GIS). Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

This role is an experienced servant leader, who is responsible for optimizing the flow of work and value delivered by the Identity & Authentication Services team by planning, orchestrating, and managing release events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Promotes and coaches the Agile mindset and principles, enabling the organization to become high-performing as one cohesive team.

  • Coordination of release execution through defining cross-team dependencies ensuring a well-defined program/release schedule that meets organizational objectives.

  • Optimize the flow of epics / features and the value delivered by the release train.

  • Partner with Product Managers to ensure the program has a healthy product / program backlog.

  • Creates, manages, and communicates release events to leadership team for upcoming release changes and provides post-release outcomes and actions.

  • Maintains a central release management tracking, reporting, approval, and escalation routines.

  • Ensures impediments to delivery are resolved quickly, protects the teams from outside disruptions to delivery, and drives continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for broad knowledge of the environments, tools, processes utilized by the various teams to develop, test, execute changes for the change requests.

  • Partner with engineering, development, and testing teams to plan, execute, and deliver change initiatives into production ensuring risk control and production stability.

  • Mentors junior scrum masters.

  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements.

Required skills:

  • 7+ years of active involvement in project management with strong track record of delivering projects/releases per expectations.

  • 7+ years leading large scale transformation programs, involving business process and change.

  • 5+ years of Agile experience in a change agent role.

  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, concepts, and ceremonies.

  • Adept at handling multiple tasks and pivots fluidly to support daily changing requirements.

  • Broad knowledge of the change policy, processes, environments, and tools as well as the risk control framework.

  • Experience in Release Management

  • Experience in SDLC life cycle process

  • Experience in both technical and functional capacities.

  • Solid Verbal and Written communication skills

Desired skills:

  • SAFe SM & RTE certification

  • Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Agile experience.

  • Proficient with Jira, Confluence

  • Familiar with ITSM Remedy

  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team

  • Previous experience as a collaborative leader

  • Excellent communication and mentoring

Enterprise Role Overview:

This job is responsible for optimizing the flow of epics, features, and the value delivered by a smaller Agile Release Train, such as a Solution Train. Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating the Solution Train ceremonies, managing dependencies, providing visibility into the health of epic and feature delivery and the overall program increment, and promoting agile principles and mindsets through coaching. Job expectations include ensuring impediments to epic and feature delivery are resolved quickly to avoid disruptions and participating in budget and resource planning.
