Hyatt seeks a Senior Analyst to join our Project Finance team. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Development, Feasibility, Asset Management, Accounting, and Legal teams to drive Hyatt’s market growth. You will be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company while growing your knowledge base in hospitality, and real estate financing. The Role

The Senior Analyst of Project Finance will provide support for third-party capital raising activities on behalf of Hyatt and third-party VIP Owners, Hyatt’s joint venture partners for specific hotel projects, and support other Development and Transaction Activity. The position will report to the AVP of Project Finance and work closely with other teams within Hyatt. A successful candidate will have previous banking experience, an interest in the real estate industry, and strong communication skills.

•Support efforts to arrange third-party capital for Hyatt and its joint venture partners

•Participate in financing contract negotiation, assist in deal closing process

•Perform Excel modeling and cashflow analysis to support decision-making

•Prepare project finance updates to internal teams and committees

•Monitor debt portfolio performance, manage debt schedules and servicing

•Participate in ad hoc projects to support the broader Corporate Finance team

•Opportunities to participate in Hyatt’s Diversity & Inclusion activities

•Be Chicago based

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•2 to 4 years of experience with financial modeling/analysis for underwriting

•Strong Excel skills for modeling (financial modeling, complex formulas, etc.)

•Familiarity with bank documents and loan underwriting criteria

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Hospitality

Experience Preferred:

•Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects

•Deliver results in a timely and professional manner with attention to detail

•Familiarity with valuation methodologies and discounted cash flow analysis

•Communicate effectively with team members and Senior Leadership

•Experience in hospitality or knowledge of the hotel industry
