Join our Alberton’s Grocery sales team and unleash your passion for reporting and analytics. As an integral part of the team, you’ll drive business through data-driven decisions, serve as the team’s analytic resource, and find growth opportunities in the data for sales team clients. You’ll build tools to aid the sales team’s business understanding. You’ll track key performance metrics such as sales growth and share against key benchmarks while keeping up with our weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc deliverables. You will contribute to the team's success by collaborating with the sales team.

This role can be located anywhere in the United States.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyzing Data- This role involves evaluating Nielsen and shopper card data with a focus on pricing and promotion. You’ll be responsible for identifying key business drivers, pricing, and ROM gaps to drive business growth

• Providing Insights -Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Directors, Sales Planning, and Category Management to review business trends and provide your input on opportunities to improve profit, gross sales volume, and share

• Joint Business Planning- You’ll partner with the Sales team to maintain business forecasts and track our joint business plan with our retailer partner. You’ll leverage your skills in extracting data from multiple sources to provide a periodic summary of performance against our joint goals and objectives

  We’re Looking for Someone With

• Proven experience in data analytics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced expertise in Excel and experience building PowerPoint presentations

• Advanced experience and proficiency in syndicated data tools such as Nielsen, IRI, & Numerator

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and insights

• Demonstrated ability to approach problem-solving with a logical, structured, and analytical mindset

• Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, for data manipulation
