Worthington Industries is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team in our Receiving & Warehouse Department. Hours are 7:00am-5:00pm These individuasl will be responsible for safely receiving, loading and transporting product to different areas of the facility. Duties include a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: order picking, material handling, and quality control. The ultimate goal of the Receiving & Warehouse employee is to safely achieve excellence in all facets of the role; providing the highest quality service safely, while effectively and efficiently increasing profits. A detailed orientated, self-motivated, problem solver that utilizes a strong work ethic. is required. Pay starting at $20.50/hour. Apply to learn more!
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform all duties in a safe manner
Ability to work in a team environment focusing on meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards
Capable of working any shift with possibility of rotating
Know, understand, and follow plant safety rules, policies and procedures
Operate forklift and yard dog safely
Move trailers to and from the warehouse dock to yard locations in a timely, safe and professional manner
Complete daily inspections and documentation/check sheets on equipment and trailers
Ensure inventory accuracy and tracking procedures are followed
Follow company policies and procedures
Assist others as needed
Ensure accurate order picking and shipment loading
Maintain a clean work area
Complete paperwork as required
Remove Kanban cards from mailboxes and place on Trigger Board
Remove material from Q/A inspection area
Read bill of materials/receipts
Other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor
Perform all duties in the spirit of Our Philosophy and in accordance to legal, ethical and contractual practices

Training on 1st may be required if hired for 2nd shift.
Ability to sustain a steady work pace over an entire work day
Strong basic math & reading skills

Proven ability to effectively work in a detailed, fact based environment
