The Opportunity
Procter & Gamble is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Baby Care Team. In this role, you will focus on process development related to upstream innovation. You will be working on new initiatives for solving technical product problems for new consumer experiences as well as supporting process optimization/improvement. This work will include both innovation & integration, requiring fast-cycle learning, data-based & intuition-based decision making, and creativity.
Position Responsibilities
Guides and influences technical project direction and solves significant technical problems by leveraging scientific/engineering skills and strong foundational
Develops process understanding through hands-on experimentation/application.
Performs Application work and demonstrates implementation skills leveraging knowledge that moves projects forward and also begins to gain exposure to and demonstrate initial proficiency in performing integration work.
Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones. Includes all aspects of Process work from upstream product development, IP landscaping and prototyping to IQ/OQ/PQ of full scale manufacturing processes.
Coaches individuals and initiative teams to apply the MOPD work processes and use all the basic MOPD tools.
Job Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering , other relevant STEM field.
2+ years of experience in industry
Process development and mechanical design fundamentals, including CAD experience, understanding of drawings/blueprints.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills to partner cross discipline.
Ability to work in office up to 5 days per week
Pay Range: $85k – $115k
