Job Description
At P&G, Design drives dedication beyond reason with the world’s consumers. We uniquely mold strategy into irresistible consumer experiences. We view business challenges through an insightful lens – consumer centric in everything that we do. We balance left and right brained thinking to bring phenomenal design that builds the business. We lead with creativity, curiosity, courage, and inspiration. Through Design, we elevate brands to icons.
As a Senior UI Designer, you will play an impactful role in crafting the Consumer Experiences of our products and brands and to set principles for our entire company. Your primary responsibility will be to build visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces across various digital channels, ensuring an outstanding user experience. In this role, you will work across P&G’s brands and lead Digital Product Design (apps, interfaces connected devices), Digital Commerce (Social, Brand Webpages, DTC selling), and framing future innovation opportunities. You will partner with the rest of our UX/UI design teammates to build outstanding digital experiences, from framing to implementing, from Discovery to Delivery.
As you lead UI Design for the team, we will expect you to turn insights into high-fidelity designs. As a key partner with our UX designers, helping to visualize their insights and then working with them to build wireframes. You will then lead the UI benchmarking across our set and build mood boards to encourage the team. It is important for you translate those low-fidelity designs into icon screen mockups, applying your skills of communication design and best in class UI principles. For these results you will use the style guides of our brands and translate them into Design System Libraries that can scale across digital touchpoints. Additionally, required to create icon sets, micro-animations, and content that communicates our product story in a modern and premium design style. After we create initial UI concepts, you will lead the creation of screens for the entire user flow and turning those into full prototypes that we can use for research. For this you will need to keep in mind principles in responsive design across multiple screen sizes, as well as technical feasibility. Finally, you will create design specifications for development handoff to make prototypes become a reality.
It will be as important to perform these tasks as it is to document, guide, and mentor others as we strive to grow the digital acuity across the company. All our roles provide the opportunity to use your talents envisioning, inspiring, defining and enabling comprehensive, multi-sensorial brand experiences. As a member of the P&G design team, ground-breaking solutions are created that enhance the ways in which we can connect and influence consumers around the globe.
