Within the US Biosurgery platform, the Senior Marketing Manager Topical Absorbable Hemostats (TAH) will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the SURGICEL Family of Products and the SURGIFOAM brand. The Manager will also be guiding and developing a direct report and will be part of a dynamic portfolio team. He/she will be responsible for driving alignment and execution of cross functional partners to drive strategy, execute the tactical plan and achieve business objectives. Other responsibilities include:
Develop and refine strategies and execute tactics to drive TAH growth
Lead the successful launch/pull through of new product to the marketplace with a clear selling strategy and role in the portfolio
Deliver on new product and SURGICEL family sales and forecasts based on brand strategies, marketing programs and corporate operational objectives. Create and execute promotional programs (including advertising, professional education, contracting solutions, conventions, digital)
Work across all elements of the marketing mix and uses appropriate channels of communication (brand strategy, marketing planning and execution, pricing, launch excellence, procedural selling)
Monitor and control budget to access promotional effectiveness. Work productively with external agencies and cross functional groups within the organization.
Ensure completion of market analysis and monitors competitive activity. Conducts assessments on new market opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis.
Build network with key opinion leaders and monitors industry developments impacting business.
Deliver business plan development and execution for assigned brands/products. Identify and leverage customer insights.
Collaborate and support field sales organization. Understands policies and procedures (ex. HCC and Copy Review).
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required; an Advanced Degree is preferred
A minimum 8 year's relevant business experience is required
A minimum of 3 years marketing experience is strong preferred
Sales experience is preferred
Biosurgery expertise preferred
Medical Device experience is strongly preferred
Healthcare industry knowledge is required
Strategic thinking, the ability to collaborate and challenge the status quo is required
People leadership experience is preferred
Ability to build leadership relationships and influence in a highly matrixed organization is required
Understanding of customer insights is required
Execution of a marketing plan is preferred
This position will be located in Somerville, NJ or Cincinnati, OH and will require up to 30% travel.
