Lockheed Martin Supplier Quality Field Representative (SQFR) Senior - Springboro, OH in Cincinnati, Ohio

Description: Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) seeking a resident Supplier Quality Field Representative (SQFR) for a position located in Springboro, Ohio.

The position will require full time onsite at the assigned supplier as necessary and may require travel out of the assigned geographical area as necessary to support other suppliers across U.S. The individual may also be responsible for other suppliers in a nearby region that may require recurring travel away from assigned location.

Duties Include:

Performance at suppliers of scheduled product source inspections, first article inspections, purchase order reviews, surveillance assessments, qualifications, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards.

Provide internal and supplier support for root cause and corrective/ preventative actions tied to Supplier Corrective Action Requests, Audit Findings, and various Action Items.

Interface with customer and program management.

Support supplier's failure diagnosis, investigations, review boards include Material Review Board (MRB) related activities.

Perform Quality Management System Assessments and Special Process Surveys.

Perform on-going surveillance of supplier's conformance to Lockheed Martin, Industry, and Supplier requirements/ documents and production process. Provide written weekly reports.

Provide technical liaison support related to Quality Engineering matters.

Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implement and verified and interfaces with supplier on a daily basis.

Provide Strategic corrective actions.

Interface with and inspect products such as launcher tubes/ pods, mechanical, machined, composites, electrical, and more.

Mentor and train multiple Quality individuals.

Support complex supplier issues enhancing LM/ Supplier relationship.

Must facilitate a team-building approach in working closely with the assigned supplier becoming an integral team player and be a hands on part of the solution to issues as they arise.

Basic Qualifications:

Technical bachelors degree or equivalent mix of experience and education.

MUST be an effective communicator and team-player working hand in hand with the assigned supplier. MUST build a collaborative working relationship built on trust and mutual respect.

Working knowledge of composites and machining.

Effective communication and interface with at least some of the following: Government Representatives / DCMA, Quality Program Management, Quality Engineering, Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Management, Subcontract Management, Manufacturing Engineering, and Subcontract Management.

Knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes, source acceptance inspections, and auditing.

Experience with reviewing or performing AS9102 First Article Inspections.

Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems to document supplier's quality deficiencies following the non-conformance process. Ensure effective corrective action and follow-up is in place.

Experience with continual improvement practices, using tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Causal Analysis to drive Corrective and Preventative Action.

Must be able to ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified and interfaces with supplier on a daily basis.

Strong background understanding engineering drawing requirements including GD&T and mechanical inspection methods.

Overall understanding of how to manage and interface with a supplier daily to support program needs.

Demonstrated leadership and customer relationship management skills.

Effective communication skills (oral and written) with ability to navigate complex situations.

Proficient usage of Microsoft programs.

Ability to work a flexible schedule and support on OFF days if needed.

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience with AS9145 APQP & PPAP.

Experience with Quality or Manufacturing auditing.

Experience with Electrical hardware.

Experience with SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P).

Experience or knowledge of special processes and associated specification requirements.

Prior experience working at MFC and LM's supply base.

American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications.

Expert in Geometric, Dimension, & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Extensive technical knowledge and experience in the area of Supplier Quality.

Experience with providing technical liaison support related to design and quality engineering matters.

Experience with new product qualification and testing.

Experience with new production line set up and validations.

Experience with creating work instructions and inspection instructions.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
