Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Clarksburg, West Virginia, is seeking a Project Manager Intern. In this role, you will support the fabrication team in process cycle time reduction projects, as well as productivity and quantitative analysis. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies towards the creation of standard work to remove waste and embed quality within our fabrication processes.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering or related degree.

Desired Skills:

- Experience working in Manufacturing or production environment.

- Demonstrated Ability to resolve conflict and

prioritize requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience multi-tasking, prioritizing, tracking, coordinating, and expediting activities to meet

critical program requirements.

- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
