Northrop Grumman Financial Analyst II in Clearfield, Utah

Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems designs, builds and delivers space, defense and aviation-related systems to customers around the world. Our main products include launch vehicles and related propulsion systems; missile products, subsystems and defense electronics; precision weapons, armament systems and ammunition; satellites and associated space components and services; and advanced aerospace structures.

Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to provide support to our Aerospace Structures team in our Clearfield, UT location.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

As a Financial Analyst for our Aerospace Structures group you will be responsible for supporting our Indirect Budgets and Overhead Rates Team. This position will work very closely with management, operational leaders, internal customers, and other sites within Aerospace Structures Business Unit.

You will work with the Finance team as well as other departments on the following:

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and communicate recommendations to management.

  • Develop, maintain, and establish financial information systems considering such things as budgeting, financial performance to plan, labor tracking, material consumption, and total cost on operation floor

  • Establish budget and track project cost performance to planned budgets

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Planning and forecasting skills

Experience Requirements:

  • Candidate must have exposure to and an aptitude to learn more about the following:

  • Financial Reporting

  • Financial and accounting concepts

  • Microsoft office software proficiency required, specifically Excel

  • Coordinate quarterly EAC (Estimate at Complete) process

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Econ/Accountingor similar required (education will be verified) 2 Years experience with Financial Planning and Analysis within a technical, engineering, aerospace, manufacturing.
