This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00 am– 6:00 pm MST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and/or weekends or holidays. Our office Is located at 2 S Cascade, Ste 140, Colorado Springs, CO.

We offer 1 week of paid training. The hours during training will be 8 – 5 pm MST, Monday – Friday. Training will be conducted from the office located at 2 S Cascade, Ste 140, Colorado Springs, CO.

After training, you will be able to work from home 3-4 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Our ideal candidate is an adept communicator; deadline oriented, and self-motivated, with excellent follow-up and customer service skills.

  • Posting payments in a timely manner to member accounts

  • Communication through email with internal team and advocates

  • Maintain Compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times.

  • Ability to work in a fast – paced environment and multi – task.

  • Ability to meet quality and production standards.

  • Must be detail – oriented with independent work habits

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED (or higher)

  • Basic Proficiency with Windows PC applications

  • Working experience with Microsoft Tools including Microsoft Word (creating memos, writing), Microsoft Outlook (setting calendar appointments, email) and Microsoft Excel (creating spreadsheets, filtering, navigating reports)

  • 6+ months exposure to the acquiring and/or managing of data to support a project

  • 1+ years of customer service experience

  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (or higher)

  • Background in a medical/healthcare setting

  • Direct healthcare data collection experience

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to adapt to changes.
