Northrop Grumman's Space Systems Sector is seeking applicants for a position on the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program as a SystemsTest Engineer. This position will focus on Agile software development activities for the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS). This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO, and up to 25% travel may be required.
What You'll Get to Do:
Support the PARCS agile software development team focused on DEVSECOPS solutions
Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule and cost constraints
Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions
Participate in, prepare and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures
Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews
Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system.
Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete
Support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software/hardware system integration testing
Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor is appropriate
Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Education/Experience: 2 years applicable experience with Bachelors degree from an accredited college; 0 years with Masters. 4 years of applicable experience may be substituted for degree.
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
Experience with automated testing techniques and tools
Technical documentation and analysis experience
Experience in Agile development processes
Current Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM)
Familiarity and/or experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development processes
Familiarity and/or experience with real-time operating systems
Familiarity and/or experience with emulation/virtualization technologies
Familiarity with ground-based radars, familiarity with phased array radars - Ideally with Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) / PAVE Phased Array Warning System (PAVE PAWS), or the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS)
Experience using test automation tools and writing basic test scripts using Java or python programming languages
Experience in Linux scripting using bash or python
