Join our AIR6500 Program team at Lockheed Martin, where we lead the first-mover international Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) program that supports our customer’s mission to provide Australia with a System of Systems IAMD solution for the future.

THE WORK

As the US C2 Sr. Program Manager you will be responsible for:

Managing a portfolio of programs across a broad customer landscape in the US.

Collaborate across the business to ensure flawless program execution and ensure all program financial, schedule and technical performance commitments are met or exceeded.

Collaborate across the business and our international partners to ensure FMS growth on key programs are enabled and fully integrated into applicable international DCS contracts.

Bring innovative leadership, thoughtful customer engagement, effective risk management and strong internal stakeholder engagements to achieve mutual goals.

You are a strategic leader with a proven track record in program management, experience executing FMS and domestic contracts for large complex software development programs. Your expertise includes:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

A deep understanding of software development, agile processes, key metrics and their application for accurate forecasting, and leading large development teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Program Management experience including leadership of large/complex development programs and P&L responsibility

• Experience capturing and transitioning into execution FMS contracts

• Demonstrated experience driving tasks to closure with resourceful solutions to problems.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver briefs to executives with appropriate level of messaging.

• Demonstrated ability to execute large scale agile SW development programs

• Demonstrated ability to transition new business pursuits into a fundamentally sound executable baseline

• Experience with portfolio management

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated Program Management experience with domestic or international defense contracts as well as DCS / FMS contracts.

• Active Program Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Program Management Institute (PMI).

• Technical understanding of operational and tactical command and control systems and C4ISR architectures across multiple domains.

• Experience with International Trade Compliance, requesting/developing export licenses, and ensuring all international activities are conducted within the guidelines of export control policies.

• Ability to interface with senior/executive internal and external stakeholders

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
