The Integration Leader is responsible for delivering both short and long-term projects to improve safety, quality, capacity and operational efficiencies across the Georgia Campus. You will apply a balance of innovative thinking and project execution while partnering with other leaders to implement strategic programs, while also delivering our day-to-day commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure and assign project resources to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of programs.

  • Provide clear direction and accountability to the Project Leaders.

  • Build relationships with support groups such as Product Value Streams, Global Technical Operations, R&D, Suppliers and Customers to ensure both project success and solid progress towards the site strategy.

  • Mitigate and/or eliminate risks to the supply chain during project implementation and deploy standard methodologies in project leadership.

  • Deliver improvement programs through standard project tools (e.g., PPM, Lean, Six Sigma), while keeping Our Credo as the guiding principle for decision making.

  • Establish and operate within budgetary controls for assigned projects, understanding and positively influencing benefit to the wider Supply Chain where possible.

  • Support technical activities to ensure continuous process improvement and development of both product and process; as well as new product introductions.

  • Lead and/or support very complex and high-impact Six Sigma and Lean Projects including identification of areas of improvement in procedures, requirements and policies relating to cGMPs, Safety, Environmental, Equal Employment Opportunity and other regulatory areas, to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or supply chain

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated ability in manufacturing, engineering or quality operations

  • At least two (2) years of direct or indirect people leadership

  • Proficiency in driving innovation, prioritizing and collaborating across functions in a complex organization

  • This position will be located in Cornelia, GA or Athens, GA and may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel

Preferred

  • Other advanced degrees

  • Lean / Six Sigma certifications

  • FPX certification

  • Capability to build operational improvement using lean or six sigma tools

  • Experience in medical device/regulatory-dependent sector
