Ally Sales Performance Analyst in Costa Mesa, California
This position resides in Auto Finance supporting our National field sales organization and strategic initiatives. The position will partner with regional sales leadership to monitor trends, track business results and elevate risk issues to management. The role requires the ability to analyze data with the goal of discovering useful information that will support business decisions. The role requires this information be presented in a variety of formats to multiple audiences. Significant time will be spent leveraging data between various interfaces, warehouses and reporting systems to develop sales reporting dashboards, reports, and presentations.
Identify operating/performance trends and outliers via interpretation of business intelligence data and quantitative analysis. Assist with development and implementation of appropriate metrics/reporting that drive business results and adoption of best practices. Interprets and translates business data and intelligence into market insights and actionable reporting.
Communication with all levels of the sales organization to support business objectives. Identification of market growth opportunities and competitive landscape dynamics. Help enable sales teams for success through actionable recommendations and executive summaries to accompany data and analytics. Development of key operational reports and project roll out of Web-based landing pages and the reports which will reside on it.
Support of and participation with key business leaders and various stakeholder partners in revenue generation and process improvement opportunities. Active role with greater sales performance team.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or other highly quantitative field of study.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Access, with the ability to learn new software, as needed. SQL or SAS a plus/preferred.
High level of written and oral communication skills.
Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills.
Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis and research methods.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work flow.
Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment.
Auto finance knowledge or experience a plus.
