Product Coordinator, Product Management As a Product Coordinator at Vans, you will support the Women’s Global team as well as the Active and be responsible for creating and maintaining the product database for the both teams. Responsibilities include coordination of communications, system related reports with extensive use of Excel/ PLM, managing and organizing Apparel & Accessories samples and product line plans for the Apparel Department. This role is a support to the Women’s Global Apparel team, overseeing and supporting Analysis & Data compilation. This role will have a hand in shaping the organization of the department by way of: supporting the creation of Process & Procedures, Templatization, SOP’s and Work Flow. S.O.P.
How You Will Make a Difference
As the Product Coordinator, you will maintain the Apparel & Accessories product database season to season (line plan reporting and all coordination). You will serve as the communication liaison with cross functional partners to receive and consolidate information.
What you will do:
Distributes weekly line plans to global regions. Supports Product Management functions for the department throughout the development calendar Order Pantone colors and create seasonal color cards and rings for distribution to cross functional partners. You will assist in all product line review presentations preparation with facilities. This coordinator owns sample coordination/organization for global merchandising sample line. Works seamlessly with marketing and regional partners to provide them with required assets as it relates to Apparel & Accessories initiatives (campaigns, catalogs, etc.).
What success looks like:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year college - or at least 1-year related experience and/or training
Understands and embraces industry, consumer, and culture
Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Keynote, Adobe Illustrator, and PLM experience a plus
Ability to think strategically and act tactically
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proactive, self-motivated, problem-solving and results oriented with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to multitask and follow through with all tasks, assignments and job duties in a timely manner
Strong analytical and organizations skills
Ability to work in an open environment with product team and cross-functional partners
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Willing and able to work additional hours when needed.
Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25lbs,
depending on need
