As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will be a vital part of the Production team and your responsibilities will include:
•Ensuring and facilitating QE and inspector floor support
•Operations meeting status support
•Employee 1 on 1 meetings
•Training scheduling and employee onboarding
•Supporting test operations
•Managing Receiving Inspection/Production Quality
•Ensuring non-conformance's are accurately controlled, documented and dispositioned
•Trending Quality metrics and performing/leading root cause analysis and corrective action
•Helping resolve technical issues and communicating them back to the program and or Customer
•Helping dive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality
You will need to have effective written and communication skills, work independently/self motivated and demonstrate attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, chemistry, etc.).
• Ability to interpret product specifications, drawings/blueprints
•- Able to use calibrated inspection equipment to validate dimensions or features
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and supervisory characteristics
• Basic Computer/MS Office skills/look up specifications/military standards
• Current Secret clearance required prior to start
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software
• VECAMS experience
• Inspection/QA experience
• GD&T experience
• Experience supporting test and/or product acceptance
• Missile or flight vehicle experience
• Prior Supervisory experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
