Lockheed Martin Systems Integration and Test Engineer in Courtland, Alabama

Description: Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our FBM/THAAD team in Courtland, AL! As a key member of our team, you will support the planning and execution of testing for multiple programs and follow-on projects, ensuring the successful testing of complex systems.

Summary of key duties for this position:

· Support the development of proposals and test plans for FBM/THAAD programs

· Develop and maintain test documentation, including test procedures and reports

· Execute tests, including handling of ordnance, and support mission operations

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful testing and integration of systems

· Analyze test data and identify areas for improvement

Basic Qualifications:

· Experience in test engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment

· Strong understanding of test principles, including test planning, execution, and reporting

· Experience with handling ordnance

· Interim Secret clearance required prior to start; must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

· Active Secret Clearance

· Experience writing test procedures

· Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

· 5+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment

· Experience with FBM/THAAD programs or similar missile defense systems

· Knowledge of industry standards, including MIL-STD-461 and DO-178C

· Previous Military and/or Department of Defense (DoD)-based experience

· Prior Certified Test Conductor (CTC) or equivalent in a test engineering environment

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
