CVS Health Accounting Retail Coordinator in Cumberland, Rhode Island

Job Description

CVS Health, a Fortune 500 company has an exciting new opportunity to join the Retail Accounting Team. In this role as a Retail Accounting Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Operations Accounting team by preparing various journal entries and reporting regarding credit card usage/programs. You will research and obtain support to resolve credit card disputes from credit card processors and effectively challenge chargebacks. In this role you will maintain the confidentiality of PCI/PHI and identify technical issues/fraud trends and communicate with management and vendors to resolve. In this role you must maintain accurate records of credit card research and dispute activity for analytical and trending purposes using Access and Excel as well as identify and report on procedural problems as they arise.

As part of the Retail Accounting team you will create and update the team’s standard operating procedures, assist in training new team members as needed and actively participate in team meetings to share information and improve processes.

Our preferred candidate will have intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook and Word and solid organizational skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving and researching abilities are also necessary and the ability to learn new systems efficiently and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

1+ years of professional accounting/finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

Previous SAP experience

Payment Industry experience

Retail and/or bookkeeping experience

Associate's Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or related field

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
