Description:

The Associate Director of Events hires, trains, manages and coaches approximately ten Event managers and coordinators. The Associate Director of Events will the second in command in the Events department. Primary responsibility is to service large group sales business. In addition, responsibilities will include supervisory duties to assist the Events Director with the successful daily operation of the department.

Qualifications:
· A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
· Refined verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
· Minimum of 5 years in Hotel Event Sales and/or Event Planning
· CMP Certified preferred
