Senior Documentation Analyst receives requests from our Business Partners within Community & State Appeals and Grievances to perform updates on our Knowledge Central content library – from simple maintenance requests to playing a support role in larger documentation optimization projects. You’ll focus on the end users’ experience to support simple, easy, and accurate content within everything we publish for the end user. The role is a part of the Documentation Excellence and Process Optimization Team (DEPOT) within Government Appeal Operations and partners closely with the Consultant and Senior Consultant team roles in day-to-day work.

You'll build strong relationships with our business partners within Appeals & Grievances for Community & State Medicaid.
You'll build relationships with team members to load balance requests coming into the Documentation Excellence & Process Optimization Team (DEPOT) request portal.
You'll assess documentation for accuracy and completeness according to team quality standards.
You'll work with DEPOT Team consultants & operations teams to create best practices for A&G documentation design & delivery.
You’ll support development of new process documentation, following standard documentation guidelines and requirements as set by the DEPOT team
You’ll partner virtually with Business contacts to locate knowledge holders within area of expertise and extract and curate accurate and easily understood documentation to support Government Appeals Operations A&G quality and customer satisfaction.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
2 + years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office setting environment
Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
Moderate proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new complex computer system applications
Associate's Degree (or higher)
Familiarity with Lines of Business within Government Appeals Operations (Medicaid)
Experience creating communications or training for the Adult Learner audience
Experience Facilitating Virtual Meetings
Intermediate level of Microsoft Visio
Process Mapping Experience
Visual Design/Wireframe Drafting Experience
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
- Background or strong interest in creative writing/communications

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $20.77 - $36.88. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $22.93 - $40.58.
