Phlebotomist * Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 AM - 11:30 AM, Rotating Weekends (1st Shift)* _Location_: Medical City Dallas Hospital

Phlebotomist Job Description: * Phlebotomist obtains lab samples by various means including venipuncture * Check and maintains supplies for work assignments * Responsible for excellent customer service through various duties including answering telephone calls, charting patient results, and other duties as needed * Serves infant to geriatric patient populations
Phlebotomist Job Requirements: * High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required * High school students will be considered provided they are enrolled in a Health Occupations Vocation Program (HOSA/HOE) * Ability to learn venipuncture and other lab sample collection procedures * Basic anatomy and medical terminology required * Basic computer skills required * Sufficient sight (including color discrimination), mental concentration, manual dexterity and mobility to function effectively in exercising job responsibilities in a fast paced, high volume laboratory
