Job Description:
We are seeking a Business Support Executive for the Local Markets & High Net Worth Credit Risk group. The selected candidate:
Oversees a team of Credit Risk Analysis Managers and Business Support Managers for the Enterprise Credit Risk team supporting GCB, BB, Merrill and Private Bank of America
Oversees a team of Credit Risk Managers who support the Business Banking Centralized Delivery Centers
Partners with FLU Leaders and Credit Risk Executives (“CREs”) to monitor, manage and report on asset quality and general portfolio trends
Reviews and challenges Business Strategic Plans and Loan Forecasting. Challenges LOB strategic initiatives to ensure proper evaluation and mitigation of increased Credit Risk
Escalates emerging risks and portfolio issues to attention of FLU partners and CREs
Partners with Regulatory Relations and FLU teams to prepare and review reporting for regulatory purposes and remediate regulatory findings
Engages in Credit Risk Policy development and revisions
Be responsible for CRE portfolio assignments and delegated authorities
Serves as back up Level 6 approver for GCB and BB. Serves as escalation point for Business Banking Credit Risk Managers
Foster a strong Risk Culture and supports responsible growth by maintaining a full understanding of issues and trends impacting our clients and business partners.
Required Skills and Experience
Candidates must have prior experience as credit and/or risk professionals
15+ years’ experience in commercial or wealth management lending including the underwriting and/or approval of credit exposures
Strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of risk policies and procedures
Substantial leadership skills necessary to implement change and resolve issues/conflicts in a balanced and professional manner
