Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Manager to define and support global people strategies aligned to business and functional objectives. This role primarily supports Information Technology and Finance for one of our business units. The role will manage employee engagement activities, facilitate talent management, DE&I, succession planning and retention. The role will work closely with COE functions such as TA and L&OD to provide world-class HR service to key global business functions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate HR values and handle HR related activities in accordance with company policies and legal requirements for Avery Dennison
Partner with global functional leaders to support organizational structure solutions based on changing business needs, such as facilitating organization changes/people movements, building talents pipeline.
Drive the talent development and deployment for global functions through collaboration with the Avery Dennison global network, developing programs to support organization capabilities for the future
Provide managers in the business the right guidance to deal effectively with complex people issues having taken a capability/performance based approach within the global context
Build strong work relationships with business leaders, be able to influence and coach leadership in effectively managing human capital
Deliver HR leadership in all aspects of business strategy, promoting company values/culture and performance systems
Drive change management initiatives in line with the overall business talent strategy
This role will partner with the Global Head of IT and Finance and its leaders to enable the organization's strategic vision and help driving the digital transformation
Define future learning opportunities to enable the use of digital transformative technologies
Humanize cultural factors of moving to new technologies
You'll work with the Total Rewards and Recruiting team to scope the required capabilities, target deep talent pools and build the overall team expertise
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience being an HR business partner for Information Technology clients
Proven track record of delivering organizational solutions for Information Technology groups
Experience with a digitally advanced organization, versed in the latest IT solutions that help the business deliver customer solutions
Experience with best in class ‘digital’ journey HR leadership
General HR business partner experience with a broad range of clients/functions, finance support a plus
Proven track record of implementing, managing and solutioning key HR deliverables for IT employees
Creative recruitment and retention strategy specialist
Exposure to IT or technology learning paths
WHAT WE'LL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s a plus
Minimum 8 years of solid experience resulting in business partner role, prior experience in fashion/retail environment a plus
Someone with OD/Learning/Talent Management experience is preferred.
Experience in a global multi-national company and a multi-cultural environment is essential
Demonstrated HR partnership at all levels in the organization
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high pressure matrixed environment
Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of strategic workforce planning, talent management/development and change management
Well developed analytical, problem solving and decision making skills combined with influencing and negotiation skills
