VAS Dept.

Job Summary

The VAS department Team member will provide support to the VAS department and other departments as needed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Know and understand the Distribution Center Key Results for VF Outdoor Inc.

  • Seeding - Prepare packed cartons by adding needed supplies to perform VAS. Example of hanger, retail stickers and poly bags.

  • VAS (Value Added Service) - Process product as requested by the customer. This includes, and is not limited to, hangers, ticketing, polybag, labeling, and folding product.

  • Flow and maintain 5S guideline standards within the department. Provide support to multiple departments to fill needs of facility

  • Performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, standing long period, lifting, walking, stooping, and handling of boxes

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience

  • Require a high school diploma.

  • Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.

  • Effectively communicate information and respond to questions.

  • Able to read barcode, labels and other product documentation.

Typical Working Conditions:

Associate will work around equipment, such as conveyors and rolling stock, which could contain hazards. Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.

Hiring Range :

$13.25 USD - $16.56 USD per hour

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
