P&G, the company behind some of your favorite brands like Tide, Charmin, and Pampers, is currently hiring at our Dayton warehouse for Warehouse Associates. Our Dayton warehouse is located 1 mile west of the Dayton International Airport.

Location: Union, OH

As a fulfillment center Warehouse Associate at P&G, you will be responsible for leading a production line with a keen eye for detail. With on-the-job training, you will learn and familiarize yourself with core warehousing technologies and systems. Leading a production line is a critical role at P&G because you are responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity needed to meet the needs of our customers and consumers. Resolving, troubleshooting, and maximizing productivity or similar experiences

Developing and implementing new and innovative manufacturing processes

The current schedule is Monday - Friday, with slow shift rotation, alternating 1st shift (6:00am-3:00pm) and 2nd shift (2:00pm to 11:00pm). First shift is two weeks, and then second shift the third week. We are a 24/7 operation, and also have a third shift (10:00pm-7:30am) Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the site to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. The hours of work can vary from 8 to 12 hours daily. Technicians are expected to be willing to rotate to any shift. Mandatory overtime may be required on weekends and/or holidays.

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

    Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour.

    We have four different shifts to cover:

    First shift 6:00am-3:00pm

    Second shift 2:00pm-11:00pm

    Third shift 10:00pm-7:30am

    Rotating shifts on a slow rotational schedule 1-1-2. (First shift for two weeks, and second shift the third week)

If you're a really good fit, you'll have:

  • Experience problem solving with large equipment

  • Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing safety behaviors

  • Experience working an 8-hr. rotating shift

  • Strong communication skills

  • The ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment

  • Wear required safety personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to bend and stoop, climb, stand and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms, and twist, turn and bend

  • You are willing to working in a fast paced environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity and loud equipment

  • Prior experience is preferred but not required. P&G provides on-site training
