Leading manufacturer of high-quality pressure-treated lumber is seeking a self-motivated individual who is a fast learner and takes pride in their work. This opening is for Forklift Operator in Athens, AL.

To be successful, the candidate must:

• Work well on a team

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. to a maximum of 45 lbs.

• Have an excellent safety record

• Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per day

• Have at least 2 years of experience on a sit-down forklift (desired)

• Previous lumber experience is a plus

• Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, and staging products and materials.

• Keep staging areas clean and organized.

• Recording and maintaining accurate inventory counts.

• Monitoring the quality of all products based on customer specifications.

• General lumber yard duties.

• Follow safety procedures as outlined by the company safety program.
