GBS P2C Cash Application Process Technician – Decatur, IL

This is a full-time non-exempt level position – 40 hours/week.

General

The NA Global Business Services has an opening for a full-time representative in the Decatur office. This job will has the ability for some flexible hours able to accommodate most schedules. The successful candidate will be engaged in a wide variety of activities focused on providing outstanding customer services for ADM’s internal and external customers by efficiently executing processing cash transactions. The position will be involved with many of ADM's accounting systems, along with other systems used by controlling colleagues.

Experience:

High School Diploma

Associate’s Degree Preferred

Job Requirements:

Technical and Performance Skills Desired

  • Problem solving & analytical skills

  • Detail Oriented

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, Teams, etc.) IBM (A0GO, ARGO, BSGO, OPGO), JDE, AS400, Adage, AGRIS M3 and Oracle knowledge is a plus.

  • Ability to function in a deadline oriented environment

  • A Team Player

  • Strong multitasker

  • Strong Communication skills with staff, supervisor & customers, via teams, in person, email or on the phone

  • Flexible and willing to take initiative and do what it takes to get the task completed

  • Dependable and a desire to learn

  • Able to generate ideas around continuous improvement tools to improve Cash Application processes

  • Positive Attitude

  • Strong Time Management Skills

  • Ability to cross train others and work with global counterparts

  • Any reconciliation and Accounts Receivable experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively move cash payments to the appropriate systems and reconcile customer accounts. Balance cash on a daily basis.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to ADM’s Internal and External Customers

  • Investigate, research, apply and resolve unapplied payments.

  • Work with internal partners and Business Units on reconciliation of customer accounts and unapplied aged cash

  • Work to identify and correct application errors

  • Communicate and answer questions professionally through email, phone, teams communications and face to face

  • Work along with and train our extended team partners on applications, aged cash, and other Cash Application processes

  • Assist in centralizing and standardizing Cash Application processes for North America

  • Assist in bringing more work into GBS
