This is a full time, exempt position

Position Summary

As Marketing Coordinator, you will have a core focus on producer facing activities across specific ADM businesses. This position will execute and maintain ADM’s producer product and service portfolio with a primary focus on fertilizer and regenerative ag activities. Heavy communication and alignment with various internal stakeholders such as the farm direct fertilizer and climate smart team is required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Champion and execute ADM’s strategic go-to-market plan for the products housed in our portfolio of offerings

  • Work closely with other members of the immediate and extended producer origination team to ensure alignment with overall strategic priorities

  • Manage and create new strategies with ADM Farmer Services social accounts

  • Champion and support new farm direct fertilizer products/programs and regenerative ag programs as needed based on various new market opportunities, including guiding the creation of related marketing materials and internal execution details

  • Develop, edit and maintain marketing support materials for farm direct fertilizer sales and regenerative ag programs, collaborating across functions where possible

  • Actively seek to understand competitive product offerings and potential business threats and creatively respond with a proactive mindset

  • Responsible for creating and communicating monthly content campaigns

  • Assist in the management of trade show / industry event presence and support

  • Encourage and influence farmer facing teams to provide a higher level of service and a deeper understanding of a customer’s business through marketing campaigns and direct written/verbal communications

  • Understand and articulate the company brand promise behind specific contract guidelines and service offerings

  • Support any execution of training opportunities that are aligned with the fertilizer and climate smart leadership team. Specific tactics may include remote presentations, in-person training, or web based/recorded video trainings

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within ADM’s portfolio to benefit the producer

  • Network to attain positive, collaborative relationships with internal colleagues across divisions

  • Effectively communicate competitive advantages and vulnerabilities to further the development and success of ADM to key internal stakeholders

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Preferred

  • Understand how to effectively lead and conduct professional sales/origination calls with customers and prospects in order to appropriately support the farm direct fertilizer and regenerative ag team

  • Collaborate with local colleagues to provide insight and support strategic goals

  • Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and a solutions focused mindset are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

  • Dedication to understand technology applications and their application to sales and origination execution

  • Early adopter of new technology/programs and ability to lead and influence other target users

  • Basic understanding of grain markets, grain contracting alternatives, production agriculture and the application of those to the producer . Additionally, any specific knowledge to agronomy or sustainability will be advantageous

  • Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or agriculture, or equivalent experience

  • Ability to function effectively, both independently and with a team

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organization

  • Expert organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work in a global ecosystem (internal and external) with a high degree of complexity

  • Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Teams

  • Displays creative marketing and design qualities with a keen sense of aesthetics

  • Estimated 10% travel required
