What will you do?

A day in the life of a GTM Manager at Altra looks a little like this.

  • Manage Go To Market Process

  • Collaborate with Product and Sales departments to define product launch marketing and communication strategies, develop creative briefs, develop presentations for Go To Market meetings and sales meetings

  • Develop supporting marketing materials for consumers and retail sell-in

  • Lead the concepting process to create solutions for shop in shop, brand storytelling in store and elevated brand presence at events

  • Manage Product Launch Activation across retail: Wholesale, Key Account, US and Canada

  • Develop custom programs for sell-in with key accounts in Run Specialty and Sporting Goods channels.

  • Manage Co-op Marketing needs across top strategic, multi-door retail partners.

  • Oversee Development of toolkits by Marketing Coordinator to support product launch across all other retail partners.

  • Develop strategy, plans and videos for the internal and sales force training platform (Myagi).

  • Management and development of Integrated marketing programs

  • Drive integrated programs at wholesale, combining athletes, events and product launch moments like Market Takeovers

  • Elevate current marketing activations and commitments, enhancing brand presence, partnership and brand awareness

  • Ensure product launch integration with brand campaign and brand marketing assets

  • Collaborate with the Athletes & Events teams to ensure integration of athletes and community into product marketing and vice versa.

  • Team and marketing requirements:

  • Manage key marketing budgets and associated monthly forecasts/updates.

  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams including building positive, productive work relationships to understand and deliver marketing solutions that drive growth and bottom-line results

  • Build strong partnerships and establish credibility with the internal and external team based upon a demonstrated collaborative approach, leadership skills and experience.

  • Define, evaluate and report key metrics that tie to business goals

  • Adopt and enrich marketing plans through consumer insights

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 10+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Experience leading marketing teams in a fast paced, high volume environment and managing a budget of $5M + Proven leadership abilities.

  • Experience in leading marketing teams and processes.

  • Proven success in creating and delivering strategic marketing initiatives and product launch materials.

  • Understanding of retail and brand-retailer relationships.

  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects.

  • Proven skills in managing agency/vendor partners, including negotiating and managing fees and directing/evaluating brand communications campaigns.

  • Analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations.

  • Proven ability to innovate and foster innovation in others.

  • Drive for operational results including budgets, timelines and efficiencies.

  • 25% travel.

Hiring Range :

$95,040.00 USD - $118,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
