JOB DESCRIPTION (Position Summary):

The Americas financial planning and analysis group serves as the critical support for the Region CFO Americas for the analysis and presentation of all strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the Americas Region and supporting.

This role, reporting to the Manager FP&A Americas, will serve as a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. The primary responsibilities are to support the Americas monthly forecasts processes and the annual plan as well as support the establishment of best practices for financial analytics practices in the Americas region In order to succeed, this individual will utilize both, relationship building and strong analytical skill-sets.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the analysis and presentation of Americas financial results and operating metrics for monthly forecasts and plan, providing insights on the business performance at the aggregate level.

  • Contribute to the reporting and prepare presentations of Americas financial results in preparation of quarterly Board of Directors meetings.

  • Support establishment of best practices across all Brands in the Americas.

  • Work with VF’s Business Intelligence team to establish all required reporting for the Americas region.

  • Contribute to the communication of financial performance for the region with the Corporate FP&A team and the compilation of ad hoc requests.

  • Ownership of financial calendar for the Americas FP&A teams.

  • Coordinate the Flash reporting for the Americas Region.

  • Understand reporting of the weekly DTC business performance for the region.

  • Understand the marketing return on investments in the region.

  • Work with the VF’s Global reporting team in relation to reporting for the Americas region.

  • Contribute to the approval processes including but not limited to, strategic investments, marketing headcount and T&E.

  • Contribute to the tracking and execution of the OGSTM for the Americas Finance team.

  • Support the execution of programs intended to enhance collaboration and expand business understanding for the Americas FP&A teams.

  • Develop an understanding of Americas Region objectives, both financial and strategic, and a keen insight into VF’s current and future business.

  • Support and understand the monthly cash flow results for the region compared to expectation and analyze variances.

  • Support the Manager, Americas FP&A on all ad-hoc group initiatives for the Americas region.

  • Partner with the accounting team to align on all management accounting activities and ensure best practices are followed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: 1+ BA/BS in Business, Finance, or other related discipline, and a minimum of 1 year of related professional experience.

  • Fortune 500 publicly traded company experience in a matrix organization strongly preferred.

  • MBA or CPA preferred.

SKILLS:

  • Financial and performance analysis experience & strong financial skills required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong financial modeling skills, especially income statement and cash flow analysis

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Outstanding PC skills in Microsoft environment, including spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation capabilities

  • Ability to work closely with the Finance and Operations staffs while driving a results-oriented culture and an atmosphere of accountability

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment & to be a team player

  • Highly organized & achievement-oriented

  • Self-starter, able to handle multiple demands & competing priorities

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills

  • Ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner

Hiring Range :

$57,888.00 USD - $72,360.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
