Position Summary

The Business Support Manager role will support the GIS Development space within Global Information Security (GIS) and will be responsible for managing diverse data/reporting activities, training, and SharePoint management. You should possess excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills. This position requires strong excel reporting skills to interact with senior leadership, managers, and teammates throughout the organization to deliver against organizational priorities. Responsibilities may include leadership and management of key routines, development of strategic and tactical plans, coordination of business activities across GIS, execution of LOB deliverables and risk management.

Required skills:

  • Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight

  • Critical thinker; ability to analyze problems and identify both tactical and strategic solutions to address

  • Highly organized; able to effectively prioritize and balance multiple efforts in a fast-paced, data-management, regulatory driven environment

  • Data management experience (data quality, metadata management, governance, etc.)

  • Ability to quickly develop additional subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of issues and data domains

  • Must be able to manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, manage multiple tasks, and work well under pressure

  • Ability to plan and direct routines to drive the operating rhythm of the line of business and GIS

  • Ability to influence and drive collaboration across diverse groups

  • Excels at adapting to changing business needs with ability to balance multiple competing priorities in an extremely dynamic environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence vertically and horizontally throughout the organization

  • Process oriented with keen attention to detail

  • Proactively builds deep relationship with teammates/key partners

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with ability to analyze data, distill key data points and effectively present information

  • Experience with SharePoint form creation, SharePoint management, and back end data reporting

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in business management role with working knowledge of core business processes

  • Experience creating major tasks and milestones using scope, resources, and budget

  • Prior creating executive presentations

  • Experience in leading large programs with both business and technology delivery components, designing technical solutions and driving business requirements

  • Consulting or change management experience

Functions managed may include: financial control/budgeting and consolidation, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, or communication. May consult with senior management to define and manage projects that encompass and impact many associates. Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products. Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices. May have full management responsibility over a team or may manage one level of managers.
