Job Description

This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month.

Job Summary:

Raymond James Information Security is seeking a Lead Engineer to lead the IAM Engineering: IGA team within the Identity and Access Management group. This is a critical, high-visibility role responsible for leading a team of security engineers owning key platforms and applications crucial to the Enterprise, including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Infoblox. The Lead Engineer will help provide technical guidance to the Team; manage the operational activities, and help execute the strategic direction for the identity and access management department. This position will ensure the implementation of the Identity and Access Management product roadmap for the Team with goals of risk reduction, business enablement, operational efficiencies, cost reduction, and security and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support AD and DNS / DHCP / IPAM system-based processes

  • Define and implement AD and DNS / DHCP / IPAM support procedures.

  • Manage AD and DNS / DHCP / IPAM business requirements and processes.

  • Write and/or review system specifications, including output requirements, flow charts and technical diagrams.

  • Ability to learn SailPoint IdentityIQ/SecurityIQ applications.

  • Develop procedures and interpret and apply policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, or advise the wider business on application of policy, then monitor implementation of those procedures within the organization.

  • Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.

  • Discuss and recommend more complex or innovative technical developments to improve the quality of the products to better meet users’ needs.

  • Document complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.

  • Plan and manage the delivery of projects within an area of professional expertise, using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved.

  • Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Skills:

  • Strong working experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS / DHCP / IPAM, and other related infrastructure

  • Direct experience with Infoblox is desired.

  • Proven hands-on experience with identity, access and authentication management, and related tools and technologies.

  • Proven hands-on experience with networking solutions such as DNS / DHCP / IPAM and related technologies.

  • Experience with cloud services such as Office 365, Box, Slack, AWS, or Azure.

  • Strong and proven scripting skills using PowerShell, etc.

  • Enterprise level experience required - Financial Services experience preferred.

  • Event/log analysis and troubleshooting skills.

  • System monitoring and event analysis skills.

  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.

  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on implementing, configuring and optimizing IT systems and services, while ensuring smooth integration with existing IT infrastructure.

  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on monitoring, diagnosing and fixing technological problems.

  • Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on maintaining the security, integrity, compliance and continuity of IT systems and services.

Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Information Technology
