SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Process Assurance Leader is responsible for ensuring team adherence to processes, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The Process Assurance Leader must be knowledgeable on safe machine operation and effective support chain escalation.

REPORTING TO : Production Supervisor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all duties assigned in the Leader Standard Work including but not limited to:

  • Daily management (shift start up, shift handoffs, hour by hour checks)

  • Cycle counts

  • 5S, standard work, and quality audits

  • Autonomous maintenance

  • Train, coach, and support team members, and maintain training plans

  • Report to work 15 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled manufacturing shift to ensure informed handoff from previous shift.

  • Identify team competency gaps and implement appropriate action for training.

  • Ensure process adherence for all assigned areas.

  • Execute layered process audits at required frequency.

  • Support 5S initiatives through auditing and action item development and implementation.

  • Champion professional attitude and behavior in alignment with IDEX values, the BAND-IT Employee Handbook, and Code of Conduct Policy.

  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES:

  • Understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements.

  • Displayed ability to maintain confidentiality of all employee personnel information and other applicable subject matter.

  • Displayed ability to exercise sound judgment and follow proper escalation procedures.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and train teams.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills to address gaps and inconsistencies in processes.

  • Ability to successfully complete the following certifications in 90 days: Forklift certification, OSHA 30

  • Qualified on each work center in assigned work cell within eight weeks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of manufacturing environment experience required, preferably high volume

  • Supervisory/leadership experience preferred

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND VISUAL DEMANDS:

  • Requires use of hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools or controls.

  • 85% of the time is spent standing or walking.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

  • Clear vision and the ability to adjust focus are required to monitor production operation and for safety.

  • Depth perception is required for safety due to close contact with moving parts.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Noise exposure is moderate.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $58,200.00 - $87,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
