Position: Coordinator, Quality

How You Will Make a Difference

The Quality Coordinator will work proactively with cross-functional teams to minimize quality risks and use data to drive continuous improvement. The Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for all bulk production issues, interacting with vendors and multiple departments to quickly resolve and mitigate any quality concerns. The Coordinator will work collaboratively across the organization to ensure the quality standards are upheld.

What you will do:

  • Participate in product reviews and use your QA and PD experience to assess potential risks then partner with PD to create and update the quality standards.

  • Partner with PD, Operations, Sales, and Quality Management to identify high risk products and assemble a cross-functional team to devise and execute a Risk Based Program. Ensure clear communication back to Brand Operations.

  • Analyze warranty, returns and 'VOC' data to advise PD of potential for quality improvements on new and existing products.

  • Facilitate meetings with multiple cross-functional teams to quickly resolve quality issues. Actively manage resolution and corrective action plans, assisting with QC audits, claims and processes.

  • Be the primary point of contact with all Global Distribution Centers quality control teams. Monitor and report out on Quality performance KPI's to the Brand.

  • Partner with VF Responsible Sourcing, Product Safety & Product Stewardship teams, to ensure all corporate, brand, regulatory and legal requirements are met for all products.

  • Assist in coordination of trade regulations and regional compliance related to testing, importation, and labeling requirements.

Skills for Success:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3 years of quality control/product development environment experience.

Educational/ Position Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree (4 year) in a related field preferred.

What we expect you already know:

  • Apparel, Textile, Natural Fibers, or accessories industry experience highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated analytical and mathematical skills with an aptitude for systematic work.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.

  • Proficient computer skills with ability to work on and present detailed analytics

  • Basic understanding of ISO standards.

  • Maintain and develop good working relationships with all departments.

  • Self-motivation and elevated level of initiative

  • Excellent organizational skills and the creativity to develop solutions to challenging situations.

  • Travel required: 5%

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:

  • Bend, lift, open and move weight varying from 30 - 60 lbs. depending on need (i.e., lifting and transportation of heavy samples bags)

Salary Range:

$46,400.00 USD - $69,600.00 USD annually

Annual Incentive Eligibility :

This position is eligible for an annual incentive.

Long Term Incentive Eligibility :

This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
