Apparel Graphics Developer

The Apparel Graphics Developer is a key position in the development of product graphics at The North Face. This role will work with our Logowear Graphics team along with cross category partners to help bring designs to life, from concepting to the final product. We are looking for a highly organized individual with experience in project management, with a bit of creative flair thrown in.

How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

  • Assist with sample requests, tracking, comments, and graphic specifications

  • Maintain and organize electronic creative files

  • Organize and catalog incoming graphic samples for evaluation

  • Assist with meeting preparation, takes notes, and offer input during creative review meetings

  • Adheres to project deadlines, creative direction, and expectations assigned by Manager

  • Knowledgeable of performance and department initiatives related to product development

  • Become an expert at graphic and style design achievability on different fabrics as well as different factory capabilities to be able to advise partners on feasibility at reviews and meetings

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams

  • Partners with graphic designers to understand the graphic intent of styles and the overall aesthetic and how this translates to 3D and Physical Samples

  • Plans and tracks the development schedule of graphic strikes

  • Identify and Assist in the development of department guidelines and standards to ensure operational excellence and consistency across teams

  • A strong team player with the ability to collaborate cross functionally and with external partners.

  • Some printing and embroidery knowledge is a plus.

  • Some experience in working with offshore vendors

  • Problem solving and solution focused mindset.

  • A keen interest in learning and a passion for product.

  • An ability to work under pressure and to navigate change and a fast-paced environment with open mindedness and flexibility.

  • Good knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel), Project Management Software (Airtable) and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to give, receive, and apply constructive criticism

  • Organized with the ability to multitask

  • Remain detail-oriented while working back to an evolving calendar

Salary Range:

$66,528.00 USD - $99,792.00 USD annually

Annual Incentive Eligibility :

This position is eligible to participate in VF's Annual Incentive Plan. Incentive Plan awards are contingent upon (1) achievement of your individual objectives and (2) VF achieving its' Corporate and business level financial objectives.

Long Term Incentive Eligibility :

This position is not eligible for long term incentive.
