Weyerhaeuser Reliability Intern in Dodson, Louisiana
Weyerhaeuser’s lumber manufacturing facility in Dodson, LA is seeking a Reliability Intern to work with our maintenance team. Our facility is a state-of-the-art random length sawmill and utilizes advanced technology in manufacturing our products. This is a great opportunity for a student to earn additional income ($18.55/hour) and gain experience in a high-tech industrial environment. The position is part-time, and the internship will be for approximately 6 months.
- Must be at least age 18
- Must have successfully completed at least 2 semesters of Industrial Maintenance Technician, Automation & Controls Technology, Precision Manufacturing & Machining Technology, or other related programs
- Must have at least a 2.5 grade point average
- Able to work safely and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Willing to work weekends and evenings as required
- Able to work in extreme temperatures, in dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
- High level of initiative and motivation
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Successful completion of assessment process, background check and post-offer pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
