Cardinal Health Consultant, Clinical Operations, Technical Automation & Development in Dover, Delaware

This is a remote position; however, candidates must be able to work EST or CST business hours.

What Clinical Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Clinical Operations is responsible for providing clinical specialties support and expertise in the areas of advice and consulting, research and patient care to internal business units and external customers.

Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the timely and quality sale, installation and monitoring of Cardinal Health products and services; may also provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management.

Job Summary

As a member of the Clinical Cross-Referencing Team, this consultant is expected to be a solution expert and problem solver. You will help optimize our medical product cross-referencing processes through automation and advanced technical solutions driving growth in the Cardinal brand mix. You will help drive and implement solutions that drive efficiency and accessibility. Your technical skills in SQL, AI, and data visualization will be essential as you develop intuitive data outputs to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

Technical Automation & Development

  • Enhance the current technical landscape for medical product cross-referencing solution and tools. Develop and implement sustainable automation solutions using SQL, AI, and other technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility.

Issue Resolution

  • Ability to work across all functional areas to enhance the customer experience. Anticipates, plans, and delivers solutions drive business value.

  • Troubleshoot and identify root cause to develop solutions.

Project Management

  • Implements, measures, and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs, or deliverables by comparing measurement results to standards.

  • Works to understand complex functional situations by breaking them down into smaller pieces creating industry best practices.

Data Output

  • Design and deliver intuitive, user-friendly data outputs in the form of automated files and other reporting mechanisms, enabling clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.

Innovation & Accessibility Expansion

  • Explore and implement ways to broaden access to automation solutions across the organization. Implement initiatives that make these tools more widely available and sustainable over the long term.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in data management, automation, or a similar technical role preferred

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with AI-driven automation tools.

  • Data visualization skills in Excel and Tableau (or other data visualization platforms) preferred

  • Go-getter, team player, focused on continuous improvement and development.

  • Strong Analytical and reporting capabilities.

  • Strong process management skills

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $113,800

** The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
