Job Description

P3 – Senior Specialist Strategy, Governance and Automation (US)

Ours is a high-energy team of dynamic, innovative individuals dedicated to leveraging information and technology to efficiently drive revenue and productivity, thereby advancing our company's contribution to global medical innovation.

Information Technology Risk Management and Security Governance Risk and Compliance (ITRMS GRC) is an essential component of the current IT enterprise that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain and Marketing organizations. The Strategy, Governance, and Automation function is responsible for all IT GRC policies and processes, technologies, controls, compliance programs and data insights.

The Senior Specialist – Strategy, Governance and Automation will be responsible for managing and executing activities across all functions of IT GRC Strategy, Governance and Automation. This role reports to the Director, IT GRC Strategy, Governance, and Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to multiple functions within the Strategy, Governance, and Automation based on priority and need.

  • Functions include: Policy & Process Governance, Technology Product Ownership, Controls Framework and Compliance Programs and Insights

  • Own, manage and execute on all assigned functions based on direction from the appropriate lead

  • Collect and share feedback on efficiency and effectiveness of assigned functions with the appropriate lead

  • Track and maintain performance and value metrics for assigned functions

Desired Education Level:

  • Associate Degree is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years working in a Regulated and/or Technology Industry

  • Strong understanding of IT compliance within a regulated industry

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work with minimal direction

  • Demonstrated ability to think broadly across multiple functions, disciplines, or organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive activities to completion

  • Strong skills in the effective use of productivity and collaboration tools, e.g. Office, Teams, Jira, SharePoint, Confluence

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with Agile or similar methodologies

  • Experience working in a strategy or governance function
