Fresenius Medical Care North America Senior Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Operations in Downers Grove, Illinois

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations will oversee the day to day activity for various functions within Talent Acquisition Operations to include background screening and pre-employment drug testing, EEOC, Immigration, Attestation, I9 (E-Verify), Relocation and Global Mobility functions of the TA Operations team. The incumbent will be responsible for exceeding the TA Operations service standards with a focus on ensuring processes and controls support accurate, timely work and a high level of customer service. The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations will play a key role in project implementations, issue resolution, developing solutions and refining standard operating procedures for functions within Talent Acquisition Operations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead team to deliver all services within committed SLA’s and in compliance with all process and compliance expectations

  • Manage team performance through coaching and development for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce

  • Partner with internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources to identify areas of process and practice improvement, and related policy changes.

  • Manage the execution of short- and long-term process improvement objectives, with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing or vendor management.

  • Serve as point of escalation and provide resolution for in-depth situations and cases, providing situational and data analysis as needed to ensure process and SLAs are being followed.

  • Develop and maintain the Global Background Check program, drive engagement and standardization, with consideration to local laws and regulations

  • Oversee Talent Acquisition audit activities and compliance requirements

  • Maintain Talent Acquisition documentation including and not limited to data privacy notices, conflict of interest, offer letter changes in accordance to company policies and local law.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors who manage critical components of our processes

  • Liase with the TA Excellence Analyst team to support system integration updates and related process changes.

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of leading best practices to adequately evaluate program performance and provide recommendations for process and/ company policy updates as needed.

  • Lead projects supporting TA Operations initiatives, and participate in cross-functional projects requiring TA Operations involvement, including training and communication to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide regular updates to Senior TA Leadership and other internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

SUPERVISION:

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of various levels of TA Operations staff.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree (such as in Business Administration, HR Management), required; Advanced Degree desirable.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 6 - 8 years related experience

  • 3+ years as a manager, preferred or project/program management experience preferred with demonstrated ability to provide guidance, direction, coaching and indirect leadership.

  • Previous experience working within Talent Acquisition or HR Operations organization

  • Background in researching and applying HR related state and federal regulations/legal requirements.

  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize heavy workload in fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, direction, coaching and indirect leadership.

  • Recognized ability to identify and implement continuous improvement processes and tools while maximizing results and minimizing cost.

  • Demonstrated experience working with all levels of executives and management.

  • Communicates effectively using excellent verbal and written communication skills and high level of interpersonal skills.

  • Expert skills within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with Applicant Tracking systems (Workday desirable).

  • Strong presentation skills outlining TA Operation strategies to HR business partners and executive leadership.

  • Experience partnering with key vendors for present/future operational needs.

  • Operates independently, work proactively, and achieves optimal results.

  • SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP) is desirable, or a plus.
