The Commercialization mission is to help our key partners deliver the most clinically relevant, cost-effective and supply-chain efficient product assortment in the market to our customers.

Through leading market insights, performance analytics, and supplier partnerships, assortment planning will determine the right products to optimize value. As a Commercialization team, we look to share this value across Cardinal Health, our Suppliers, and the healthcare Providers we serve.

Value is driven by Cardinal Health branded products as well as our preferred relationships with other key supplier partners. Additionally, value is created and delivered through effective commercial deal modeling, operational execution and controls, data enablement and insights, as well as sales team and customer tools and analytics solutions. These activities are tightly aligned to the core distribution services value proposition and unified customer contracting process.

Role Summary :

The Commercialization team is part of the broader Commercial Enablement organization for Medical Solutions and is accountable for activating and commercializing our product assortment. This includes unifying our product assortment under a unique selling proposition, as well as creating commercial tools and analytics to enable our sales teams and customers to take full advantage of the value delivered.

Key Responsibilities

+

Create and develop compelling customer messaging and positioning to drive product assortment alignment under the commercialization strategy and product assortment story

+

Engage with sales teams and customers to share and execute on the product assortment’s unique selling proposition

+

Design and create sales enablement tools related to product categories by partnering with Product Marketing and Sales organizations; launch and facilitate sales trainings for these tools

+

Innovate on selling incentives by understanding the current landscape of rebate programs/processes and recommending alternative programs

+

Learn from and share insights with Assortment Planning teams (product marketing and sourcing) to hone category insights and assumptions

+

Support cross functional activity across assortment planning, commercial operations, commercial analytics and solutions, distribution services and sales

Experience & Requirements

+

Seeking candidate with a focus in Marketing, Strategy, Consulting, or other business functions requiring creative problem solving

+

Healthcare business-to-business experience preferred but not required

+

Demonstrates the ability to influence others in matrixed functional organizations

+

Tremendous communication skills, especially in designing messages for front-line sales and customers as well as executive leaders

+

Ability to thrive in white-space environment without clearly outlined day-to-day responsibilities

+

Strong technical skills in Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)

+

Self-motivated, learner who is curious, takes initiative, and looks for ways to continuously improve

+
